Hakone & Nikko: rated onsen
Leave the city and the register changes. Gora Kadan in Hakone is one of only a handful of three-Key ryokan in the whole country and a Relais & Châteaux member besides; in Nikko, FUFU Nikko and The Ritz-Carlton sit beside the shrines and the lake. This is where Kanto keeps its onsen.
