Park Hyatt Tokyo opened in July 1994 as the first Park Hyatt hotel in Asia and occupies floors 39 to 52 of Kenzo Tange's Shinjuku Park Tower. It reopened on December 9, 2025 after a 19-month restoration by Studio Jouin Manku, with 171 rooms including the new 85 sq m Park Suite. Restaurants include New York Grill on the 52nd floor, the modern Japanese restaurant Kozue and the new Girandole by Alain Ducasse. Club On The Park, on the 45th and 47th floors, has a swimming pool under a glass atrium, a spa with seven private treatment rooms and a fitness centre.
