Kanazawa city or Kaga Onsen?
Stay in Kanazawa when museums, the market, restaurants and walking access lead the trip. Stay in Kaga Onsen when the ryokan itself, dinner, bathing and a slower day are the point. The strongest two-night plan is often one night in each rather than commuting. Noto is a separate destination and should be planned around current transport, not added as a casual detour.
