Ryokan Onomichi Nishiyama is a renovation of Nishiyama Bekkan, a long-established inn in Onomichi, and it still uses the old inn's tea utensils, scrolls and furniture. It has eight rooms in six detached cottages arranged around a garden, each furnished differently, plus three ocean-view rooms in the main building; some cottages have their own open-air and indoor cypress baths, while main-building guests use a private-hire bath with indoor and outdoor tubs. Dinner in the restaurant brings Onomichi's food culture into French cuisine, finished in front of guests with Setouchi ingredients and served with wine or Hiroshima sake. Guests can also use the Korin Lounge, where tea, sweets and drinks are free to help yourself to, and the Nishiyama library. Rooms take one to four guests depending on the room.
