Akazawa Geihinkan is a 15-room ryokan in sukiya style on high ground overlooking Sagami Bay on the Izu Peninsula. Every room has its own open-air bath, filled not with hot-spring water but with deep-sea water drawn from 800 metres below the surface. Rooms are Japanese-style on the first and second floors (68 m2), plus a 150 m2 detached special room with its own sauna. Guests also have free use of a large public bath and a spa facility. Half-board plans serve a seasonal kaiseki dinner.
