Rosewood Miyakojima is a beachfront resort at Nikadori in Hirara, about 20 minutes by car from Miyako Airport, designed around modern Japanese minimalism. Accommodation is all villas and houses: villas of 60 to 90 square metres of interior space plus outdoor space, and two-bedroom Houses with their own pools and BBQ areas for up to five guests. Dining includes Choma, which offers four expressions of Japanese cuisine beside the sea, and the Italian restaurant Nagi, alongside Asaya Spa and SUP, kayaking and snorkelling from the beach in front of the resort. The Rosewood Explorers programme is designed for children aged 4 to 12.
