Myoken Ishiharaso is a hot-spring ryokan in the Myoken Onsen area of Kirishima, Kagoshima, about 15 minutes by car from Kagoshima Airport. It has four rooms in the stone 'Ishikura' storehouse building, which faces the Amori River, and 14 rooms in the main building; the four Ishikura rooms and four main-building rooms renovated in 2023 have open-air baths fed directly from the hot spring source. Cuisine is seasonal and centered on Kagoshima ingredients, and the Restaurant Ishikura has semi-private seating throughout. The whole property is non-smoking, and children are accepted.
