Hotel Ridge stands in a forest of about 70,000 tsubo on a headland overlooking the Naruto Strait in Naruto, Tokushima. It has nine rooms: one 120 m2 'Zeiso' suite, two 'Waso' rooms and six 'Yoso' rooms of 65 m2 each, all with an in-room bath. A large bath reserved for staying guests uses simple-type hot-spring water from a well drilled 1,500 m underground. Dinner is Japanese kaiseki served at Banriso, a former Mitsui villa relocated here in 2006 and registered as a tangible cultural property, and the on-site California Table restaurant serves creative French cuisine. Stays are limited to guests of junior-high-school age and older.
