JW Marriott Hotel Nara, at 1-1-1 Sanjo Oji in Nara, is the first JW Marriott hotel in Japan and has 158 rooms. Its modern design draws on traditional Japanese elements and motifs from Nara's history and culture. The hotel has a spa and fitness programme, and its restaurant Azekura offers teppanyaki, sushi and kaiseki in three separate spaces. The MICHELIN Guide describes the rooms as suited to both business travellers and leisure stays, and children of any age are accepted.
